" hoW t0 MaNaGE AnGer "

Hye!!.,it's been a long time I do not update this blog..hihihi..as I mention before, I wrote blog just for academic purpose since my previous lecturer told me to do so..~..=,=

After my last semester.Actually,I thought that I should close this blog because I don't need to write on this blog. But, someone told me to keep update on my blog and when I think about it back....

one question on my mind.."why I stop blogging????"..

And the answer suddenly comes out across my mind..It's true that blogging can improve my writing skill and enhance my mind also since I am very weak in English..hoho..so,I have decide to continue writing and update my blog whenever I have free time...hihi

Today,I just want to share to you guys " How t0 maNaGe or ContRoL aNGer " .well,we already know s0metimes we have a bad day..,but don't take out your anger to someone else ok..hohoho~~..

(marah betul tu..hahaha)

Okay, here I bring some tips on how to manage your anger :

Controling Short-Term Anger

1)Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're angry. Stop what you're doing, get away from whatever is irritating you, and just take a breather. Getting away from whatever's upsetting you will make it infinitely easier to calm down. Try it out in these situations:

*If you're experiencing road rage, pull over on a side road and turn off the car.

*If you're angry at work, go to the break room or step outside for a moment.

*If you drive to work, consider sitting in your car so that you're in a space you own.

*If you're upset at home, go to a single-occupancy space (such as the bathroom) or for

a walk.

*If you're experiencing anger in an unfamiliar place, don't just wander off by yourself.

Tell whoever you're with that you need a short mental vacation, and ask that he or

she stand a few extra paces away from you. Close your eyes and try to imagine

yourself somewhere peaceful.

2)Breathe deeply. If your heart hammers with rage, slow it down by controlling your breathing. Count to three as you inhale, hold the breath in your lungs for three more seconds, and count to three again as you exhale. Focus only on the numbers as you do this, and refuse to think about whatever is angering you. Repeat as many times as necessary.

3)Go to a "happy place". If you're still having a difficult time calming down, imagine yourself in a scene you find incredibly relaxing. It could be your childhood backyard, a quiet forest, a solitary island - whatever locale makes you feel at home and peaceful. Focus on imagining every detail of this place: the light, the noises, the temperature, the weather, the smells. Keep dwelling on your happy place until you feel completely immersed in it, and hang out there for a few minutes or until you feel calm.

4)Practice positive self-talk. When you're ready, "discuss" the situation with yourself in positive and relieving terms. For example, if you experience road rage, you could try: "That guy almost sideswiped me, but maybe he was experiencing an emergency and I'll probably never have to see him again. I feel lucky that I'm alive and my car is unscratched. I'm fortunate that I can still drive. I can continue to be calm and focused when I get back on the road.If you find a form of positive self-talk that really works for you, make it a mantra. Repeat it to yourself as many times as you need to in order to return to the right frame of mind.

5)Ask for the support of someone you trust. If you're still upset, sharing your concerns with a close friend or confidant might help.

*Clearly express what you want from the other person. If you just want a sounding board, state at the beginning that you don't want help or advice, just sympathy. If you're looking for a solution, let the other person know.

*Set a time limit. Give yourself a set amount of time to vent about what's upsetting you, and stick to it - when time is up, your rant is over. This will help you move on instead of dwelling on the situation endlessly.

6)Try to see some humor in what angered you. After you've calmed down and established that you're ready to get over the incident, try to see the lighter side. Casting the incident in a humorous light can help you maintain positivity and avoid getting angry over the same thing next time.

Control Long-Term Anger

1)Engage in physical activity. The endorphins that come from exercise can help you calm down, and moving your body provides a physical outlet for your rage. Try these activities you can practice alone:

*Running.
*Weight training.
*Cycling.
*Yoga.
*Basketball.
*Martial arts.
*Swimming.

2)Restructure the way you think about your life. Cognitive habits are the hardest to break, but it can be done. Ask yourself honestly if you see everyone and everything as an adversary or an obstacle. Odds are, the world isn't exactly that way - but you think it is, whether it's due to paranoia or past experience. Try these tips on changing your worldview:

*When you wake up in the morning, resolve that you're going to greet every person

or experience as if it's brand-new to you. Shed your preconceived notions, and give

everything a fresh start.

*When you find yourself falling into the same thought ruts, say "Stop it"

out loud. Consciously change your line of thinking to something else.

*Try on different points of view. Instead of focusing exclusively on how you're

affected by a situation, ask yourself how it affects the other people involved. Think

about the obstacles they're dealing with, and how they're responding.

3)Keep a journal of what upsets you and how you plan to fix it. Every time you're overwhelmingly angry, write down exactly what happened. (It's important to be honest, even if it casts you in an unfavorable light - remember, a journal is meant to be private.) Then plan out what you're going to do to fix the problem and avoid running into it next time. If you do find yourself in the same upsetting situation, refer back to your journal notes to see what else you can do.

4)See a mental health professional. If your anger has progressed to the point that it's interfering with your day-to-day life or your ability to maintain positive relationships, see a doctor. He or she can assess the root of your problem and whether or not you require therapy, medication, or some combination of both.

***Realize that depression, even that diagnosed by a professional, can at root be caused by anger, and the frustration arising when it cannot or is not rectified, and there is no justice. Because anger in most cases must be suppressed, so as to not cause harm to oneself and others, or its source has caused humiliation and shame, and because one seethes with it when not released, and one pushes it into the unconscious, its unresolved festering can cause depression.or animosity, when actually the true problem may be they are simply unaware of what one's standards are. Confront the perpetrator in some way to let them know that they are making one angry. Of course caution must be considered in the event of the possibility of violence.

p/s : Whenever you got angry.,stop for a while and think the effect when you taking out your anger to the others...hehehe..

Do I lo0k anGry???hihihi...

We Rise From Our Past

Alhamdulillah, we get to live to see another day in this beautiful yet harmonious world. Lets make du'a and seek repentance. One way the heart and mind will be calm and be peaceful.
Throughout our life, there will always be a horrid dream that probably has come true in our life. Let's face it, you don't want to remember it right? now lets all just try to forget all the terrible things from the past that happened to us, whether it is from our childhood, school, college, university or from now, the beginning and the present of our adulthood.
How to forget the past? Just focus on the future and the present. Enjoy all the things that is in front of you, whether you like it or not, still you have to go through it. That's what we called life. Everyone has been given the chance of one life. To have another life mean that we are so lucky He still gives us the chance and hope to make it a better one.
"People change as time flies, but the memory may remain". - Anonymous
We grow so fast that we didn't flashback at what we do few years back, it may seem that we don't want the memories to haunt us again but there still a good side to this. There is still bits of pieces that we can take from our past memories like experience and momentum. These two would be considered as the main power to our survival, without these two, we may never get back up from falling.
Experience - Knowledge that we gained from action of our past, which will remind us of what should we do correctly the next time if certain situation occurs.
Momentum - Once we fall, our momentum might decline really bad, probably really down that you think you don't have the strength to get back up and all hopes may seemed lost. Nevertheless, be remembered! you still have the chances to rise and set your momentum straight again by gather all your confidence, mental strength and physical strength. (Pray to Him, set your intention (niat) straight and may He guide you to the correct path).
Let us rise and take all the distances memories into experience that we may cherish. Let us ponder into the future, once we rise from the ashes, greater things will come to us for those who are willing to take the risk. Always have in mind that Allah is very near to us, just raise your hand and InsyaAllah, He will help you no matter how big the obstacle is. He will show you the way and maybe the easiest way, but it is up to you to walk and work you way through it.
There is no reward if there is no effort.
Forget all the people around you who want to put you down, they wanna see us fallback. They do this because you are one further step away from victory. Them? just a friction between you and victory/ultimate prize.
If we ever lost into the distance, lets remember Him, Allah SWT. He will guide you back to the right path, if you wanted to. Your path of life is your own choice, but the obstacle may vary. Don't let you heart be astray. He has given you so many, yet in your heart there is ignorance?.
Without Him, we may never rise from our fall, He aid us in so many ways that you couldn't thank Him enough.

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.
(Maya Angelou, And Still I Rise?)
Let your heart and minds speaks for itself, have you grown up yet?

"Nasreddin Hodja and the Candle" is an interactive story which is comes with a good lessons and the plot of the story seems very structured. The lesson that clearly showed in this story is someone can facing problems or any challenges if he put in his mind set that he can go through the obstacles then, he can do it well.In this story, Hodja used his mind set to imagine that the wramth of the light was helped warm the blood flowing through his cold body.Although, Hodja do not use the real candle to warm himself, he can feel the warmness of the light just by imagine it even he only see the light of the candle from a hundred meters away. Therefore, everyone can achieve the thing that they really want to if there's desire and they put in their mind they can do it.
